Facebook stops plan to display ads on WhatsApp.

Last year May, Facebook planned to show ads on WhatsApp starting from this year but things doesn't seem to go has it planned.

As reported by Wall Street Journal, the group that had been in process of introducing ads into WhatsApp was dissolved recently with their research consequently erased from WhatsApp code.

However,Facebook still plans to display ads on WhatsApp status feature but at the moment the popular messaging app will be without ads.

The company acquired WhatsApp in 2014 for $20billion with billions of users around the world aims to monetize it by displaying ads.

Originally,Facebook aims were to shape suggested ads in your WhatsApp stories appropriate for your viewers,but now that the group working on it has been dissolved you shouldn't look forward to see ads on your stories at any moment in near future.

WhatsApp status feature which was included at the beginning of 2017 lets you to share GIF, photos, text and videos as your status that is stories which automatically disappear 24hours from the time you share them and also you can share it as your Facebook stories.
